Sterling Scale- Model 820 and 825 Weighing and counting Scales

The Model 820 and 825 are precision bench top weighing and counting scales designed to accurately weigh or count a wide range of products. The 820 and 825 provide high performance, accuracy, dependability and ease of operation at a low price.

Features such as 16,000,000 internal counts, combined with a complex digital averaging program results in precision weighing and counting. Keyboard calibration is standard and a special high tech filtering circuit eliminates problems caused by vibration.

The .625" high back lit display is easy to read and the custom annunciators clearly display the status of the scale.
The Model 820 and the Model 825 can operate from an optional battery for up to 24 hours between charging. An internal battery pack or an external battery pack is available.

Both models have an all steel enclosure for maximum protection against EMI and RFI interference. The keyboard is completely sealed against dust and oil, and the internal load cell is protected from overloading with built in stops. A standard bidirectional RS232C port is provided for interfacing to computers, PLC's or printers. An optional 422 or 485 output is available.

The Model 820 is used in general weighing and counting applications. The 820 is supplied with push button tare for net and gross weighing. Counting is simple, place sample pieces on the scale and press the units key.

The Model 825 has all the features of the Model 820 and many more. The Model 825 has keyboard tare for entering a known tare weight of a box. Variable sample sizes can also be entered when counting parts. Optional weight or quantity cutoffs are available for the Model 825.

An optional second scale channel is available for either model to allow a remote scale platform to be added.

HARSH ENVIRONMENT PACKAGE

• All of the standard features but with added sandblasted surface, capped and sealed tubes, cold zinc epoxy coating, urethane enamel finish coat and stainless steel load cells, leveling feet, hardware, and remote NEMA 4 "J" box with 10' Sealtite conduit. Perfect for harsh conditions and chemical applications where total stainless steel is not required.

EASY INCLINE RAMPS

• These back saving ramps are ideal when a pit application is impossible. Easy 6° incline ramps are designed to fit all four sides of any 660 scale and lock in place with the attached brackets.

FORK LIFT PACKAGE

• All of the standard 660 features but with added fork lift skids for those applications requiring convenient and rapid transporting of the scale. Only three inches high, this scale maintains its low profile design with built in rails that permit easy pick up and transportation by most commonly used fork lifts. Also featured are heavy steel bumpers mounted on all four corners to protect the load cells and leveling feet from fork lift blades. 

BUMPER GUARDS

• Protect your investment and add years to the life of your scale with our diamond steel bumpers. Angled design deflects fork lift blades and prevent unwanted movement and damage to scale. Bumpers are available in 3600 surround style or any combination of sides to fit your specific application. Our 360° surround bumper is also available with fork lift skids to add portability to your existing scale. Each Cambridge Scale Works bumper guard is custom built to exactly fit your scale.

PIT FORM

• Includes everything but the concrete. Each Cambridge Scale Works pit form is custom built to exactly contain the scale you order. These forms feature welded reinforcing rods on all sides and corner plates for easy installation.
